[edit] Membership Requirements are in flux - this page is out of date!
...What does that mean?!
Well, it means that after some experience and conversation[1], we realized that people want to see things happening at the space before they drop their hard-earned cash to visit. While the membership stuff is in flux, we do need money to help with the rent and projects. The below information is for historical info and for future use. Come down to the space. Hang out, Help out, and invite your friends.
[edit] Membership Policies
This makes everything so completely panilses.
[edit] Student Membership
Student memberships are for those under 18, and while it does not grant 24/7 access, you do get full use of the space during a restricted set of hours. You are also welcome to participate in the consensus process. participation is yet to be determined - contact Loki for more information.

[edit] Scholarships & Fellowships
Scholarships are primarily for our "starving artist" or "will code for food hacker" friends, and applicants will be expected to both help around the space, and participate actively in at least one project (theirs or someone else's) that is chosen at the time of application.
Fellowships are for people who have a really cool project, that the membership wants to support, and who cannot otherwise afford to be a member and work on their project. A fellowships would include membership, but could also include funding towards materials. Fellowships require a number of members to step forward and commit to funding the project. Contact Loki to find out more.
Heckuva good job. I sure apprceiate it.
[edit] Members of other Hackerspaces
We also are open to reciprocal memberships with other hackerspaces. If you are a member of a hackerspace that is not in the metro area, then you are welcome to use our space while you are in town, as long as our members are able to use your space. This does need to be formalized with the other hackerspace before privileges are granted.
Way to use the internet to help people solve pbrlomes!
